IQNA – A Khatm Quran was held during a Quranic gathering in Nablus, Palestine, this past weekend.

A Khatm Quran program was held in Nablus, the West Bank, on August 25, 2024

Khatm Quran means reading the Holy Quran from the beginning to the end.

More than 250 memorizers, including men, women and children, recited the Quran at the event, according to the Al-Arabi al-Jadid daily.

This was the first such Quranic program organized in the West Bank.

The participants began reciting the Quran after the morning prayers and concluded the Khatm Quran in the evening.

They recited all of the 30 Juzes (parts) of the Holy Book during the program.

Two other groups of memorizers recited 20 and 10 Juzes of the Quran.

It was organized under the supervision of the Quran Memorization Committee of Nablus, which has more than 500 members.

Quranic activities have not diminished in the West Bank despite Zionist settler violence and almost daily incursions into towns and villages by the Israeli regime’s forces.
