Speaking to the expo's press center, Laleh Eftekhari, who heads the Iranian parliament's Quran and Etrat Fraction, said that self-sacrifice and martyrdom are mentioned in the verses of the Quran and holding the Quran exhibition in the Holy Defense Garden-Museum highlights the relation between the Quran and martyrdom.
This is the first time the Quran exhibit has been set up in the garden-museum. The previous editions were held at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayers hall).
The 22nd edition of the expo started on Tuesday, June 24 and will continue for 20 days until July 13.
Dr Eftekhari hoped that the organization of the exhibition in the new venue will prove to be successful.
She further hoped that more MPs will pay a visit to the great Quranic event.
