Gathering of Morocco's Quran Memorizers Concludes

The third gathering of Morocco's memorizers of the Holy Quran concluded Saturday night.

Titled "Quran and Faith", it had started in the city of Kenitra on Wednesday, July 16, Manara news website reported.
The four-day event included different programs such as Quran recitation sessions attended by the country's prominent Qaris.
According to Seyed Mohsen Akujim, head of Kenitra's council of scholars, which organized the gathering, it was aimed at promoting the Quran.
A number of forums were held during the gathering featuring themes like 'faith and Quranic injunctions', and 'ethical and social effects of faith'.
Morocco is a country in North African. Islam is the largest religion in the country, with more than 99 percent  of the population adhering to the faith.
