Title Winner in Egypt's Int'l Quran Contest to Be Honored

-- Iranian Shoja Zoveidat who ranked first in the 33rd edition of Egypt's international Quran contest will be honored at a ceremony on Wednesday in the southwestern city of Abadan.
Zoveidat won the first title in the category of memorization, Tajweed and Tarteel recitation of the holy Quran.

Hojat-ol-Islam Abdurreza Hosseinifar director degenral of Khuzestan Province's Owqaf and charity affairs department will deliver a lecture in the ceremony. Later in the program, Zoveidat's Quran instructors, Hossein Nasseri and Sayyed Adnan Mousavi will also be honored for their efforts and contributions to the Quran memorizer's success.

Representatives from 65 countries took part in the 33rd edition of Egypt's international Quran competition, which was held in Cairo in the holy month of Ramadan.
