Mohammed Al Muhairi, head of Preaching and Counseling Section at the department, said a special function will be held to mark the blessed occasion.
“The program will start with some verses from the Holy Quran, following which Director-General of the department Dr Hamad Al Shaibani will deliver a speech on the Prophet’s birth anniversary.”
Dr Mohammed Al Kubaisi and Sheikh Mahmud Emran will shed light on some of the Prophet’s teachings and mercy. Finally, Dr Ali Mashael will conclude the program with a poem on the event.
The department has launched a weeklong intensive program across the emirate of Dubai. Popular scholars are delivering 513 lectures on the ethics and teachings of the Prophet in densely populated areas. The department has completed another program billed ‘The Prophetic House’ in commemoration of the Prophet’s birth anniversary.
Aisha Al Kash, head of the Religious Cultivation Section, said as many as 145 women and female students were enrolled in the program.
“The course was meant to develop the awareness of the women and female students on how to religiously look after their house and properly undertake their responsibility in the family — as a daughter, mother, wife and teacher, in line with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad [PBUH].
Samira Al Fahimi, head of the Religious Awareness Section, said the program featured four lectures on the Prophet as a child, father, husband and instructor.
“The lectures were delivered by four staff female counselor at the Princess Haya bint Al Hussein Cultural and Islamic Centre.”
Meanwhile, the Dawat-e-Islami — a non-political organization serving the Holy Quran and Sunnah in over 150 countries around the world — celebrated the occasion at Al Madeena Cricket Academy, near the new fruit and vegetables market in Sharjah, on Monday.
