Poetry Reading Session on Arbaeen Held in Oman

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The third poetry reading session on the occasion of Arbaeen (the 40th day after Ashura) was organized in Muscat, the capital city of Oman.

According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) Assembly hosted the program entitled "Man Lahiqa bi” (whoever joins me).

It was held with the participation of the Iranian cultural attaché in Oman.

A number of literary figures including 9 eminent poets from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Oman read their poems in which there were references to the hadiths and teachings of Imam Hussein (AS).

Jasim Al-Mushrif, from Saudi Arabia also presented a paper about poems featuring the third infallible Imam (AS).

A collection of the poems presented in the second edition of the session was gifted to the participants.
