TEHRAN (IQNA) – Israeli forces breached the northern Gaza borders and razed agricultural land there on Monday.

According to a WAFA news agency correspondent, Israeli bulldozers protected by tanks infiltrated the border and razed lands north of the town of Beit Lahiya, north of the Gaza Strip, as they opened fire in the air.

Israeli forces stationed at the military watchtowers east of the city of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip, meanwhile, opened fire towards Palestinian shepherds forcing them to leave the area. No injuries were reported, however.

Israeli forces often breach the Gaza borders, raze land and prevent farmers from developing and attending to their lands located near the border fence with Israel. It tries to keep at least 300 meters deep into Gaza along the border fence as buffer zone and would shoot at Palestinians in that area.
