Cleric Stresses Translation of Quranic Verses on Palestine
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Khatib (preacher) of Al-Aqsa Mosque, called for efforts to translate and spread the message of Quranic verses that feature Palestine and the holy city of Quds (Jerusalem).
Addressing a conference on the issue of Palestine, Sheikh Akrama Sabri said such verses as well as Hadiths (narrations) of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) about the issue should be translated into different languages, paltoday.ps website reported.
The event was organized in the Turkish city of Istanbul by the Assembly of Palestinian Youths Living Abroad.
He told those attending the conference that loving Palestine is not enough but awareness about the issue of Palestine should grow.
Sheikh Sabri also underlined the need to boost unity among Palestinians.
