Driving US Out of Region Main Punishment for US Assassination of Gen. Soleimani

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The official spokesman for Yemen’s Ansarullah movement underlined that driving the US troops out of the region is the only punishment that amounts to the martyrdom of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.

In a memorial event for the two martyrs, Mohammad Abdulsalam said the Islamic Ummah is determined to continue the two martyrs’ path.

“Martyr Soleimani has a great role in achieving the victory by the resistance in the July 2006 war in Lebanon, thwarting the most dangerous scheme in the region,” he said, according to Al-Masirah.

“We remember how the Arab and Islamic masses regained a sense of victory after the July 2006 war after previous defeats," he said.

Abdusalam stressed that Martyr Soleimani was a soldier who felt his religious and moral responsibility was to defend the vulnerable on the ground.

“We appreciate the position of the Iranian people and leadership in supporting the Yemeni People, facing the US-Saudi aggression,” he further said.
