Al-Quds Supreme Islamic Council Slams Zionist Raids on Al-Aqsa
The council said in a statement that the Israeli acts of aggression have reached a dangerous stage, Palestine Today reported.
It denounced the escalation of provocative acts such as raising the Zionist regime’s flags, playing trumpets, and performing Talmudic rituals at the Muslim holy site.
The statement also condemned the silence of Arab states and some Muslim countries on these acts of aggression by Zionist settlers that are carried out under the protection of Israeli forces.
The council called on Arab and Muslim countries to meet their responsibilities regarding the holy city of Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In recent days, hundreds of Zionist settlers, supported by the Israeli occupation forces, have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque frequently, carrying act provocative tours in its courtyards of the mosque.
