Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran Center's Quran Contest to Wrap Up Monday

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 15th edition of a Quran competition annually organized by the Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran Center in Iran will conclude in a ceremony on Monday.

The closing ceremony will be attended by a limited number of Quran masters and activists due to the coronavirus restrictions.

It will begin with recitation of verses from the Quran by internationally-acclaimed qari Jafar Fardi and will include Tawasheeh (religious song) performances, a speech by Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mehdi Haerizadeh and eulogy recitation by Haj Ali Farahani.

Winners of different categories will be announced an awarded at the ceremony.

This edition was held in the categories of Quran recitation, Tarteel, memorization, and Quranic concepts.

The Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran Center organizes the contest every year to promote learning the Quran and identify Quranic talents.
