TEHRAN (IQNA) – Various countries and organizations have condemned Thursday's terrorist attacks in different Afghanistan cities which claimed more than 30 lives.

Worshippers at a Shia mosque in Mazar-e-Sharif were targeted by Daesh (ISIL or ISIS) terrorists. The attack claimed at least 31 lives while also injuring 80 others. Another attack in Kunduz killed at least four people and wounded 18 other people.

In a statement on Thursday, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh slammed the attacks while also expressing Iran’s concern about these tragic events.

He also wished patience for the families of the victims of the attacks and health and recovery for the injured.

Hezbollah: Terrorists stripped of all human values

In a statement on Thursday, Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement strongly condemned the attacks.

It said the attacks violate the sanctity of the holy month of Ramadan and show the brutality of the murderers who are stripped of all human, moral and religious values.

Hezbollah called on Islamic governments and religious authorities to condemn the terrorists’ deviant ideology and put an end to their corruption. It also urged the Afghan authorities to strongly confront these groups and prevent similar incidents.

It also wished God’s mercy on the martyrs and speedy recovery for the injured.
