The ceremony was attended by a number of officials, including Ali Reza Moaf, the Quran and Etrat deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the head of the exhibition.

The products and works included Amir Bayan software developed by the Culture Ministry’s Quran and Etrat Deputy, a copy of the Quran written in Iranian Nastaliq script by prominent calligrapher Manouchehr Nooh, Khas Quranic application for mobile phones, and a Quran memorization software.

The Amir Bayan software features the teachings of Nahj-ul-Balaqa, a collection of sermons, precepts, prayers, epistles and aphorisms of Imam Ali (AS).

In an address to the ceremony, Moaf said unveiling ceremonies are among the attractive parts of exhibition, but added that such events cannot appreciate the efforts that are made to create and develop the products and works such as those unveiled at the ceremony.

He also said this year’s exhibition has been warmly welcomed by the people and the media, adding that the Quran expo should contribute to discourse making in society.

The 29th Tehran International Quran Exhibition was inaugurated on April 16 at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) and will run through April 29.

The expo is annually organized by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan.

It is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.

The exhibition showcases the latest Quranic achievements in the country as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.
