Global Fraternity of All People of Faith
The Quran says believers are brothers: “Believers are each other's brothers. Restore peace among your brothers. Have fear of God so that perhaps you will receive mercy.” (Verse 10 of Surah Al-Hujurat)
This is a declaration of peace and fraternity among believers, among all of those who believe in God, the Creator of goodness, beauty and the truth.
Naturally, if there are differences or disputes among such people, they do not originate from selfishness but are mostly rooted in ignorance, prejudices or misunderstandings.
So promoting peace among them is as easy as making peace among every two brother and even easier than that because fraternity in faith is stronger than being blood brothers.
Blood brothers may grow enmity against one another, as did Cain and Abel, but people of faith, if they are true believers, have the love for God in common, and that is position where reaching peace and friendship is very easy.
According to a Hadith from the Holy Prophet (PBUH), believers have a bond of unity that is stronger than brotherhood.
The meaning of faith is beyond the word Islam and includes belief in all divine religions. Faith is the language of the soul and true harmony and rapport are those based on faith. Faith makes all relatives. All of those who believe in the truth, beauty and good are true brothers.
There is no act of worship better than creating peace and friendship among people as it helps us get closer to God. Philosophically speaking, an action that helps push people toward unity is an act of worship.
