Islamic Jihad Chief Describes What Happened in Jenin as A Great Victory for Palestine
Nakhalah made the remark in a telephone conversation with families of martyrs of the resistance, especially those who achieved martyrdom in the recent Zionist regime onslaught on Jenin.
He said the Islamic movement takes pride in the blood of martyrs and the path of resistance.
He added that the path of resistance is one which the Palestinian nation courageously and powerfully pursue.
The Islamic Jihad secretary general said the victory of the Palestinians against the Zionist regime during the raid on the Jenin refugee camp was a big one achieved thanks to the braveries and steadfastness of the resistance forces.
He underlined that the Palestinian people were the best supporters of the resistance fighters in the face of the enemy.
The families of martyrs, in these conversations, highlighted their readiness to make sacrifices on the path of Palestine and resistance.
The Tel Aviv regime recently launched a major aerial and ground offensive in Jenin and its refugee camp, killing at least 12 Palestinians and injuring dozens.
The military assault marked the largest in the occupied West Bank in around two decades, as the regime deployed armed drones and hundreds of troops against innocent Palestinian civilians.
Israeli troops also forced hundreds of families in the Jenin camp to leave their homes in preparation for demolishing them in order to reach the resistance fighters.
A steadfast Palestinian resistance response prompted the regime’s troops to finally pull back from Jenin following a 44-hour-long incursion.
