TEHRAN (IQNA) – Many of the questions and doubts raised about the issue of divine Adl (justice) are rooted in misunderstandings and misinterpretations.

Adl

Here are some examples:

We think death is the end and wonder why God allowed someone to die.

We think this world is our permanent abode and wonder why some people leave the world as a result of floods, earthquakes, diseases, etc.

We think this world is a place of welfare and joy and wonder why there are hardships and adversities.

We are like a person who enters a conference hall thinking it is a restaurant and complains why no foods and drinks are served there. His complaint is rooted in his ignorance and misunderstanding. If he learns that this is a place for giving lectures and not a place for eating food, he will no longer complain.

We, too, should try to know the world as it is and know the purpose of our creation. We should realize that this world is not a place for us to stay permanently but it is only a passage.

We should recognize that thorns are with flowers, stings are with honey bees, and hardships and adversities are with welfare and joy.

If we believe these, we would not complain about hardships and we would not have questions and doubts about the system of creation.

So, in brief, some of the problems we raise about Adl come from our misinterpretation of things and of mankind and the purpose of his life in this world. We should know that this world is like a farm in which we plant seeds and will harvest the crops in the hereafter. And a farm is a place where one should toil and work hard and go through difficulties.
