Five Hezbollah Fighters Martyred in Zionist Regime’s Attack

BEIRUT (IQNA) – Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement confirmed that five of its fighters have been martyred in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah said in a statement that Abbas Muhammad Raad, Khalil Jawad Shuhaimi, Ahmed Hassan Mustafa, Muhamamd Hassan Ahmed Sahri, and Bassam Ali Kanju were the fighters martyred in the Zionist regime’s terrorist attack targeting a building in Bait Yahoun.

Abbas Muhammad Raad, is the son of Mohammed Raad, who heads the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament.

Early on Thursday, the Israeli regime’s army said its warplanes were carrying out airstrikes on Hezbollah targets on Lebanese soil.

Throughout Wednesday, the Israeli army and Hezbollah exchanged fire across the border.

In other news, an informed source with Hezbollah said the resistance movement has no role in the temporary ceasefire between Israeli and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, adding that an Israeli lack of commitment to the truce will be met with a response.
