When a society forgets God due to racism, it will face many harms and losses.
One of the outcomes of racism is sidelining the belief in God and the concept of monotheism. In that case, sanctity of concepts like divine rules and prophets’ teachings are replaced by “sanctity” of a race or a people.
Throughout history, racists have sought monopoly of everything, considering every worthy thing to belong only to their own race, nationality, religion or tribe.
They even distort religious texts and add their own views to them in order to reach their racist desires.
Here are some examples:
1- In the Quran, God describes Himself with attributes such as “the Lord of all things” and “the Lord of all people”. However, in Judaism, they consider God to be only their God. “I am your God and have chosen you among others.” (Book of Leviticus 20:22)
2- Regarding the Resurrection Day, which is among the most important religious concepts, it is said in Talmud that only the dead who are buried in the “promised land” are returned to life.

3- There is a verse in the Quran that explains Jews’ view of paradise and hell:
“They say: ‘The Fire will never touch us except for a number of days.’” (Verse 80 of Surah Al-Baqarah)
It is as if the Day of Judgment would only be for assessing the deeds of non-Jews and Jew would not see any punishment for what they have done in this world.
4- Another verse in the Quran points out a racist view that is held by some people:
“They have said that no one can ever go to Paradise except the Jews or Christians, but this is only what they hope. Ask them to prove that their claim is true.” (Verse 111 of Surah Al-Baqarah)
God clearly rejects such a notion, in some verses of the Quran, including Verse 123 of Surah An-Nisa:
“Believers and People of the Book, wishes alone can never provide you with salvation. Whoever commits evil will be punished accordingly and no one besides God will be his guardian or helper.”
