Surah Al-Baqarah: A Comprehensive Chapter about Islamic Tenets, Beliefs
Surah Al-Baqarah was revealed to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in Medina. It is the longest chapter of the Quran.
The name Al-Baqarah (the cow) comes from the story of the cow of the Bani Isra’il that is mentioned in the Surah.
