Imam Reza shrine to host non-Iranian pilgrims in Ten-Day Karamat Celebrations

IQNA – Preparations are underway in Imam Reza (AS) shrine to host non-Iranian pilgrims who are expected in the shrine during the 10 Days of Karamat Razavi Celebrations.

A wide variety of programs are scheduled in the shrine for non-Iranian pilgrims for the 10-day Karamat Celebrations (marked between Imam Reza (AS) and Hazrat Masumeh’s (SA) birth anniversaries).

They include special programs for West Asian pilgrims, Arab pilgrims’ march to the shrine to present flowers to the shrine, special programs for Arab pilgrims convoys, ceremony to cherish prominent writers on Imam Reza, and an exhibition to display artistic works about Ahl al-Bait’s teachings, according to Hojat-ol-Islam Zolfaghari, Deputy for International Pilgrims’ Affairs

He said non-Iranian pilgrims would be served with some 14,000 pre-packed ice creams provided by a Pakistani benefactor.

As for European, American, and South Asian pilgrims, Zolfaghari stated that special programs have been planned for this group of pilgrims such as a session in English on ‘Girls’ Position in Family from an Islamic Viewpoint’, a special ceremony marking Imam Reza’s birth anniversary, etc.”.
