The Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF), a cornerstone event for book lovers, marked its 35th anniversary with a grand opening on May 8 at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla in the Iranian capital.
Celebrated as Iran's leading literary gathering and a pivotal cultural event in West Asia, the fair has grown in stature over its 34 previous editions.
Annually, it draws millions, including students, academics, and families, eager to explore the vast array of literary offerings.
This year's fair boasts an impressive roster of 2,500 local and 600 international publishers, showcasing works in English and Arabic, with a selection also available in French, German, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
Embracing the theme "Let’s Read and Create," the 35th Tehran International Book Fair seeks to be a hub of creativity and knowledge until its conclusion on May 18.
