ICRO Official Stresses Importance of US Student Movements Supporting Palestine

IQNA – The head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization’s Center for Interfaith Dialogue underscored the significance of student movements formed in support of Palestine in different countries, including the US.

Ali Akbar Ziyaei said such movements are important in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people. 

He made the remarks in a meeting with a number of American Jewish rabbis and representatives of Iran’s Jewish community.

American Rabbi Israel David, spokesman for anti-Zionist Jews in the US, thanked the Center for Interfaith Dialogue for holding the meeting, and thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for helping Palestinians and informing the world public opinion about the true face of Zionists.

Rabbi Younes Hamami Lalehzar, the religious leader of Iran’s Jews also addressed the meeting, describing the Iranian Jewish community as a manifestation of peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Jews.

Next, Arash Abaei, a member of the Iranian Jewish community, highlighted the comments by the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini (RA) about the distinction between Judaism.

He added that the Iranian Jews’ passionate presence in anti-Zionist events indicates the depth of Judaism’s opposition to oppression and injustice.
