IQNA – Gaza's Ministry of Health has reported a sharp increase in casualties, with 101 Palestinians killed and 169 wounded within a 24-hour period.

The ministry stated, "A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defence crews cannot reach them."

This surge in fatalities marks the highest daily death toll in Gaza since the June 8 Nuseirat massacre, where Israeli forces killed at least 274 Palestinians.

The high daily toll comes as the Israeli regime’s military forces targeted a residential building in the Al-Shati Camp on Saturday.

This is the place that Palestinians in the north, particularly in Jabalia refugee camp and Beit Lahia, have been told to seek refuge in light of Jabalia operations.

The aftermath of the attacks has left a harrowing scene, with significant destruction to residential buildings and ongoing rescue efforts to locate survivors.

The influx of casualties at al-Aqsa Hospital is a testament to the escalating human toll.

Despite previous claims of securing the northern Gaza region, Israeli forces have launched renewed operations in areas previously targeted.

According to the latest figures released by Gaza’s Health Ministry on Saturday, the Israeli attacks on the besieged strip since October 7 has killed at least 37,551 individuals and left 85,911 others injured.
