Senior Commander Highlights Martyred Iranian FM’s Support for Resistance

IQNA – The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps’ Quds Force said late Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was tireless in his support for the regional resistance.

Speaking at a ceremony held at the holy shrine of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hassan (AS) south of Tehran to commemorate the top diplomat on the 40th day after his martyrdom, Brigadier General Esmaeil Qaani said that while many tried to prevent the voice of resistance to reach the world, Amir-Abdollahian was the clear voice of resistance in international arenas.

He said the late Iranian foreign minister defended the resistance at venues such as the UN Security Council.

The efforts of Martyr Amir-Abdollahian at the international level were very effective in maintaining the power of the Islamic Iran in the face of the child-murdering Israeli regime and the criminal US government, the top commander went on to say.

Wherever he was, Martyr Amir-Abdollahian defended the Islamic Establishment and strived to advance its objectives, he added.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, and their accompanying delegation lost their lives after the helicopter carrying them crashed in the northwestern province of East Azarbaijan on May 19, 2024.

Amir-Abdollahian was laid to rest at the holy shrine of Hazat Adbul Azim Hassani (AS).
