Pakistan: 13 Injured in Mosque Roof Collapse in Hangu

IQNA – At least 13 people, including nine women, were injured when the roof of a mosque collapsed in the Lodhikhel area of Hangu district on Thursday.

Assistant Commissioner Asfandyar Khalid, who visited the site, stated that men and women were working on the renovation of the mosque in preparation for Muharram.

He reported that the roof gave way during the repair work, resulting in injuries to 13 individuals, nine of whom were women.

All the injured were transported to hospitals in Kohat and Peshawar, where their condition is reported to be stable.
