IQNA – A young Palestinian has managed to learn the entire Quran by heart while held in Israeli regime’s prisons.

Young Palestinian Abdul Majid Majed has managed to learn the entire Quran by heart while being held in Israeli regime’s prisons.

Abdul Majid Majed memorized the entire Quran in prison in ten months, according to Al Jazeera.

The hardships of imprisonment in Israeli jails did not prevent him from making this great accomplishment.

These hardships include lack of health care, hunger, and prolonged power outages.

Abdul Majid, who is from the city of Ramallah, has been detained by the occupation forces four times.

It was during his last imprisonment, which lasted ten months, that he memorized the Quran.

A number of his other family members, including his father and two of his brothers, have also been imprisoned by the Israeli regime for different periods of time.

He said it was a great divine blessing that he could memorize the Quran.

His brother Muhammad had also made the same achievement a few months earlier.

Abdul Majid stressed the importance of memorizing and acting upon the teachings of the Quran as it is the path to growth and salvation.

The Holy Quran is the only religious Scripture that is memorized by its followers.
