Turkey: Official Honors Young Quran Memorizers

IQNA – A group of young Quran memorizers have been commemorated in a ceremony in the northwest of Turkey.

A graduation ceremony for a new group of children who have memorized the Quran was held in Kocaeli Province, located in the northwest of Türkiye, Turkish news agencies reported on Monday.

The event was attended by Ali Erbas, the head of Türkiye’s Religious Affairs Directorate.

Turkish religious organizations have launched extensive programs to promote Quranic activities in the country in recent years.

These initiatives include various training courses for memorizing and reciting the Quran, organizing Quranic events, especially during Ramadan, printing and distributing the Quran, and holding Quranic calligraphy competitions.
