In a message on Wednesday, Ansarullah described the assassination as a terrorist crime and a violation of international laws.
Haniyeh has been assassinated in an attack in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
He had traveled to Tehran to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced earlier on Wednesday morning that Haniyeh and one of his bodyguards were killed when their residence was struck in Tehran.
The statement indicated that the attack is under investigation, with results expected to be announced later in the day.
