Prophet's Mosque Welcomes Over Five Million Visitors in One Week

IQNA – The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque in Saudi Arabia reported that the Prophet's Mosque received over five million Muslims last week.

 

The services provided were designed to ensure smooth and efficient prayer experiences, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Statistics from the authority indicated that 483,822 individuals visited the Prophet's Mosque, with 250,725 visitors performing prayers in the Holy Rawdah.

These activities were managed through organizational procedures that regulated crowd movement and scheduled prayer times for both men and women. Additionally, 74,486 people utilized translation services.

Field services included extensive sanitation efforts, utilizing 24,992 liters of disinfectant. Furthermore, 1,640 tons of Zamzam water were distributed, and 188 samples were collected for testing and analysis.

The authority also provided 143,142 iftar meals to fasting individuals in designated areas within the Prophet's Mosque.
