IQNA – The second annual festival commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday in Sana’a’s Al-Tahrir district showcased a range of cultural and educational activities.

Supported by the Charitable Society for Teaching the Holy Quran and its Sciences, the festival runs from September 1 to 10 in Al-Tahrir Square.

The event featured various educational segments and competitions designed to deepen participants' understanding of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) life and values, Yemen News Agency (SABA) reported on Friday.

The festival aimed to foster love for the Prophet (PBUH) and express solidarity with the Palestinian people amidst ongoing Israeli aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip.

Attendees enjoyed a series of performances and presentations, including a poem by poet Abu Rawasi Arhab, highlighting the Yemeni people's devotion to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Al-Safaa band performed vibrant chants reflecting on the Prophet's (PBUH) life and teachings, while the "Yemeni" band presented an operetta titled "The Birth," featuring traditional dances and chants in honor of the Prophet (PBUH).

A theatrical production, "Trend," written and directed by Ibrahim al-Ashmouri, explored the challenges faced by youth and the need for societal improvement guided by Quranic principles.
