IQNA – The awarding ceremony of the 38th edition of the Iranian University Students’ Quran and Etrat Competition was held in Tabriz on Wednesday.

Winners of the 38th edition of the Iranian University Students’ Quran and Etrat Competition were awarded in a ceremony in Tabriz on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

 

A number of officials including the Head of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s Representative Office in Universities Hojat-ol-Islam Rostami, attended the  

Winners of different categories were introduced and awarded at the ceremony, hosted by the Tabriz University of Medical Sciences.

A total of 277 contenders vied for the top prize in different categories in the men and women sections. 

They had made it to the finals after showcasing the best performance in preliminary rounds.

Tarteel, Quran recitation, memorization of the Quran at different levels, recitation of supplications and elegy recitation were among the categories of this edition of the contest.

A total of 45 Quran experts served in the panels of judges in the men and women sections.

The annual event is jointly organized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and the Ministry of Health and Medical Science.

It is aimed at promoting the Quranic teachings among university students.
