Titled “Cancerous Tumor” in reference to the Israeli regime, it includes 40 works by Iranian cartoonist Masoud Shojaei Tabatabaei.
The Iranian Cultural Center in Turkey has mounted the exhibition at the Keçiören District of the city.
The opening ceremony was attended by diplomats and cultural attachés from Russia, Oman, and Indonesia, representatives from a number of Turkey’s political parties, art activists and the mayor of Keçiören.
Iranian Cultural Attaché Seyed Qassem Nazemi said at the opening ceremony that the exhibition is an effort to show the cruelty and at the same time weakness of the Zionist regime and how it has oppressed the Palestinian nation.
He said art is the voice of the truth and committed artists always stand for divine and human values, so they cannot remain indifferent to injustice and oppression.
He also noted that the next year has been named the Year of Iran-Turkey Culture and stressed the need to continue the constructive cultural cooperation between the two countries.

Shojaei Tabatabaei also addressed the ceremony, noting that he has created all of the works on display at the exhibition after the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation.
He described protesting the Zionist regime’s atrocities in the Gaza Strip and Palestine as a human mission for every person with a conscience. .
Another speaker was Mayor of Keçiören Mesut Özarslan who underscored the need for global support for the resistance of Palestine.
He said the Israeli atrocities in the Gaza Strip are crimes against humanity and war crimes based on all international laws.
He stressed the municipality’s resolve to support the people of Gaza and said the exhibition, mounted in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center in Turkey, is part of activities aimed at awakening people’s conscience to support Gaza.
