Head of Organizing Committee of Iran’s 41st Int’l Quran Contest Appointed
Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mehdi Khamoushi, the head of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, in a decree on Saturday appointed Majidimehr as the president of the committee.
Majidimehr is a renowned Quran reciter and has a PhD in Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and law.
He has previously served as a member of organizing committees in Iran’s national and international Quran contests.
The 41st edition of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s International Holy Quran Competition is slated to be held in the northeastern holy city of Mashhad in early 2025.
