The University of Milan suspended the deals with Reichman University, local media have reported, quoting the Palestinian Youth Movement and the University Students’ Union on Tuesday regarding the move.
The decision was made as a result of strong pressure put on it by students and faculty members in recent months. The University of Milan suspended its relations with Israel’s Ariel University a few months ago.
Students organized a sit-in on the campus in Milan last spring to protest against the Israeli attacks on Gaza and their university’s cooperation with universities in the occupation state.
