Footage shared by the rescue agency on its Telegram channel on Friday showed workers pulling victims from the debris of the family’s home in Jabalia. Mahmoud Basal, a spokesperson for the agency, confirmed to AFP that the air raid injured 15 others.

The children were said to be aged six and under.

Air strikes continued across Gaza on Friday, extending an onslaught that has persisted for over 14 months.

In a separate incident, eight people were killed in the Nuseirat refugee camp when a residential building was struck by a drone missile, according to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

Additionally, four people, including two girls and their parents, lost their lives in Beit Hanoon following another air raid, Al Jazeera reported.

Rescue teams also recovered the bodies of three brothers from the ruins of a bombed home near Kamal Adwan Hospital.

The deteriorating humanitarian conditions in Gaza prompted a warning from Louise Wateridge, Senior Emergency Officer for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

Speaking from the Nuseirat camp, she described Gaza as resembling a "graveyard," with over two million residents trapped amidst dire circumstances.

"Most people are living under fabric, without proper shelter," Wateridge stated. "With 69 percent of buildings damaged or destroyed, families have nowhere to escape the elements. It’s impossible to shelter in these conditions."

Israeli aggression on Gaza has killed at least 45,206 Palestinians and wounded 107,512 since October 7, 2023.
