The missile unit of the Yemeni Armed Forces successfully struck a military target belonging to the Israeli enemy in occupied Jaffa, he said in a statement on Wednesday, AL-Masirah reported.

The operation was carried out with the launch of a Palestine 2 supersonic ballistic missile, which successfully struck its target, he stated.

The spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces emphasized that military operations will continue until the Israeli attacks against the Gaza Strip cease and the blockade on the Palestinian enclave is lifted.

Earlier, the Israeli army claimed that it had intercepted and shot down a Yemeni missile before it entered the airspace of occupied Palestine.

In a statement, the Israeli army alleged that sirens were activated in wide areas of occupied Palestine out of fear of debris falling from the interception of the Yemeni missile.

Since the onset of Israel’s campaign of genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Yemeni forces have taken measures to assert their support for the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, targeting Israeli vessels in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
