Iran Announces Representatives for Jordan’s International Quran Competitions

IQNA – Iran has officially announced its representatives for the upcoming 19th International Quran Competition for Women and the International Quran Competition for Men in Jordan, set to take place in 2025.

In the women's category, Sogand Rafi’zadeh, a memorizer of the entire Quran, will represent Iran. Meanwhile, in the men's category, Hossein Khani-Bidgoli will participate as Iran’s representative.

The 19th edition of Jordan’s International Quran Competition for Women is scheduled to be held from 21st to 26th Shawwal (April 20 to April 25, 2025).

The 32^nd International Quran Competition for Men in Jordan is scheduled for the holy month of Ramadan, specifically from 20th to 26th Ramadan (March 21 to March 27, 2025).

Last year’s competition drew 49 contestants from 48 countries in Amman.

Jordan’s International Quran Competitions, held annually under the supervision of Jordan’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, are among the most prestigious Quranic events in the Arab world.

These competitions aim to promote Quranic recitation and memorization, fostering spiritual and cultural exchange among Muslim nations.
