The exhibition features artifacts from the British Library’s collection, many of which are being showcased in northern England for the first time.
Among the highlights is a Quran from the 9th century, making it over a thousand years old, and a 19th-century Quran translated into Chinese, The Telegraph & Argus reported on Tuesday.
Also on display is an Urdu manuscript from 1590, offering a glimpse into the region's literary heritage.

The exhibition has been co-curated by World Champion boxer Tasif Khan, members of his boxing academy, and calligrapher Razwan Ul-Haq.
While speaking about the exhibition, Ul-Haq emphasized the unique experience awaiting visitors: "What it will bring is a sense of wonder, delight, amazement, and reverence."
