Speaking at an open session of the parliament on Monday morning, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf congratulated all Muslims, including the Iranian nation, on the Eid of Mab’ath, which falls on Tuesday, January 26, this year.
He emphasized that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) not only revived the messages of the divine messengers before him but also revived all of humanity and his noble movement will ultimately culminate with the advent of the promised Savior.
He said the mission of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a call for humanity to embrace monotheism.
This invitation is not merely an intellectual idea but it offers a practical lesson for the lives of people around the world, he stated.
Monotheism means establishing God’s authority in all aspects of human life and cutting off the influence of powers that seek to seize human existence for their own benefit, Ghalibaf said.
He added that a world without monotheism is a world dominated by the unchecked power of tyrants and oppressors, filled with injustice, corruption, and discrimination.
