Speaking to IQNA ahead of the 46th anniversary of the revolution’s victory, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Hossein Mousapour said that over the past 46 years, “alongside our military and defensive strength, our complementary power, which is also considered the main power of the revolution, is the people’s power.”

He added that the most significant demonstration of this people’s power is their enthusiastic participation in rallies planned on Monday across the country to mark the victory of the revolution.

He said that with their presence in the rallies, people will thwart many hostile plots and make the enemy rectify its miscalculations about the Islamic Republic.

The strong Iran will remain strong with the presence of the people in the scenes, he stated, adding that the country belongs to all people and everyone is responsible about its fate.

He added that Monday’s rallies will be the manifestation of the national resolve of Iranians and will convey the message to the enemies, especially the US, that Iranians love their country and support the revolution and the Islamic establishment.

The Iranian people remain committed to the ideals of the revolution and will never cease to support the Islamic establishment, he went on to say.

Every year, millions of Iranians across the country observe ten days of celebrations marking the anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution that put an end to the monarchy of the US-backed Pahlavi regime in the country.
