Quran Calligraphy Station Draws Youth Participation at Baghdad Event

IQNA – The Holy Quran Scientific Complex, affiliated with the Hazrat Abbas (AS) shrine, has announced the establishment of a Quran calligraphy station at the “Sibt Al-Muntadhar” Festival, held at the University of Baghdad.

 

Organized through the Quran Printing Center affiliated with the shrine, the calligraphy station aims to engage young people in Quranic activities during the festival.

The initiative is part of the national “Al-Kafeel Youth Project,” led by the shrine’s Public Relations Department in collaboration with university and school outreach units.

According to the organizers, the calligraphy station, which will run for five days, has witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various faculties at the University of Baghdad.

Students actively contributed by writing verses from the Holy Quran.

The “Sibt Al-Muntadhar” Festival, which coincides with the mid-Sha'ban celebrations marking the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his advent), also features a book fair and a photo exhibition. These events aim to enrich the cultural and religious atmosphere on campus.
