Ali Muhammad Al-Sallabi said Benjamin Netanyahu’s remarks originate in the Israeli regime officials’ arrogant approach to regional nations, Arabi21 reported.
Al-Sallabi said Netanyahu has yet to realize that the Almighty God is preparing great reasons for the next civilizational phase in the struggle between good and evil, guidance and misguidance, and truth and falsehood.
It is clear that the Zionist regime’s prime minister has not understood the significant changes that have occurred and are still unfolding in Syria, he said, adding that it seems to also apply to many others like Netanyahu, who have been deceived by fleeting material power.
The IUMS chief went on to say that it seems that the Israeli regime’s leaders have squandered the opportunity granted to them by God, which is why they treat the people of Syria and other nations in the region with contempt.
On Sunday, Netanyahu called for the complete demilitarization of southern Syria in the provinces of Quneitra, Daraa and Suweyda from the forces of the new Syrian army.
“We will not tolerate any threat to the Druze community in southern Syria,” he claimed, saying that the Israeli army will stay in Syria’s buffer zone and the Syrian Hermon Mount "Jabal al-Sheikh" for "an unlimited period of time."
After the fall of the Bashar al-Assad government in December, Israel expanded its occupation of the Syrian Golan Heights by seizing the demilitarized buffer zone, a move that violated the 1974 disengagement agreement with Syria.
