The 250 men and women visited the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex on Saturday to learn about its efforts in printing the Holy Book.
They were from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Australia, New Zealand and Russia.
They toured the complex’s facilities and observed the production process, including printing and binding operations, and explored the latest technologies utilized in Quran printing.
At the end of the visit, the pilgrims were gifted copies of the Quran printed by the complex.
The visit came on the first day of Ramadan as part of the cultural programs for the pilgrims during their stay in Medina.

Established in 1984, the complex produces approximately 10 million copies of the Quran annually, including translations in numerous languages such as English, Indonesian, Russian, Japanese, Persian, Urdu, Bengali, and Korean.
