Police responded to the incident at the mosque on Park Road shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 7.
Upon arrival, officers arrested two women, aged 42 and 19, in connection with the alleged thefts, MyLondon reported on Saturday.
According to law enforcement, multiple worshippers reported that their possessions had been taken.
Robleh Adam, who was present at the mosque near Regent’s Park, said that individuals dressed in traditional Islamic attire were seen inside the building once prayers had begun and were allegedly involved in the thefts.

He also mentioned that an Uber driver helped raise the alarm and contacted the police.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrests, stating: "Police were called at approximately 6:29 p.m. yesterday evening to a report of theft at London Central Mosque. Two women, aged 42 and 19, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of theft from multiple victims."
