Acting upon Quran Prevents Defeat: IRGC Commander
“As long as we act according to the teachings and commandments of the Quran, we will not be defeated,” Major General Hossein Salami said, addressing a Quranic festival of the IRGC in Tehran on Monday.
He referred to the victory of the people of the Gaza Strip as an example, saying they stood up against the Zionist regime for 16 months facing bombings, a blockade and cold and hardships, and ultimately emerged victorious.
The people of Yemen who have stood up against the arrogant enemy with no fear are another example, the IRGC commander stated.

Major General Salami also said the IRGC is a Quranic institution that has been shaped by deep roots of faith, and its branches spread across the globe, proclaiming freedom, dignity, and security for the oppressed Muslims.
