The Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization said registration for the contest began today, April 30, 2025, and will run for a month.
Those willing to take part in the Quranic event can sign up for the contest via the website oghaf.ir by May 31.
The competition will be held in two sections for men and women, according to the organization.
They will each compete in two age groups of 12 to 18 years and above 18.
Quran recitation, Tarteel, memorization (at four levels), prayer recitation, Adhan (call to prayers), Quranic teachings, Nahj-ul-Balagha and Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh are among the categories of the contest.
The National Holy Quran Competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran, organized by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, is the largest Quranic contest in Iran, attracting participants from across the country to compete in various categories.

The annual competition, regarded as the most prestigious Quranic events in Iran, aims to promote Islamic values, foster Quranic literacy, and celebrate exceptional talent.
The top winners will represent Iran in international Quran competitions across the world.
