Saudi Ministry Distributes Qurans at Abu Dhabi, Muscat Book Fairs

The initiative was part of the ministry’s efforts to promote Islamic teachings and increase its presence at global cultural events, according to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The Qurans were printed by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Medina and were produced under the supervision of a team of scholars.

The 2025 Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, began on April 26 and concluded on May 5.

Separately, the ministry also took part in the 29th Muscat International Book Fair in Oman. At its pavilion, the ministry organized Quran-themed activities aimed especially at children and school groups.

Visitors were introduced to the printing process of the Quran and learned about the quality control measures implemented at the King Fahd Complex. They also viewed the latest printing technologies used by the facility.

During the event, copies of the Quran were also distributed to children visiting the pavilion with their teachers.

The Muscat International Book Fair ran from April 24 to May 3 in the Omani capital.

These events are among several regional book fairs that attract a broad audience, offering governments, publishers, and cultural institutions a platform to engage with the public and share literature and educational resources.
