Egypt’s Al-Azhar Launches Summer Quranic Plan

IQNA – The implementation of the third edition of the summer Quranic plan of Egypt’s Al-Azhar Islamic Center began on Sunday.

This is a special Quranic initiative for Al-Azhar affiliated centers and all private Egyptian Quran memorization centers that operate under Al-Azhar’s supervision.

This summer Quranic plan started today and will continue until August 31, 2025.

According to the general directorate of Quranic affairs of Al-Azhar affiliated centers, the participants will be trained in the memorization of the Quran for free and the training will be in two ways.

The first method is called “Memorize what has been marked for you”, which is implemented in Al-Azhar centers three days a week from 9 am to 12 am.

The second method is called “10,000 Quranic circles" and is implemented in private Quran memorization centers operating under the supervision of Al-Azhar.

The summer Quranic initiative is implemented with the support of Al-Azhar chief Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb.

The director general of Al-Azhar Affiliated Centers and the director general of Al-Azhar’s Quranic Affairs will oversee its programs.
