Ayatollah Seyed Mohsen Taheri, the representative of Golestan province in Iran’s Assembly of Experts, speaking at an Eid al-Ghadir celebration in the northeastern city of Gorgan Saturday night, June 14, 2025.

Speaking at an Eid al-Ghadir celebration in the northeastern city of Gorgan Saturday night, Ayatollah Seyed Mohsen Taheri, the representative of Golestan province in the Assembly of Experts, said silence in the face of Zionist crimes is a betrayal of Islam.

“The usurping Zionist regime, backed by arrogant global powers, commits horrific crimes that pain the conscience of every free-minded human being. These atrocities must be firmly condemned by Islamic governments and pursued in international forums,” he underlined.

He further described Eid al-Ghadir as an opportunity to reaffirm the Islamic Ummah’s bond with Wilayah (guardianship), emphasizing that in today’s critical circumstances, unity and adherence to Wilayah are the path to overcoming challenges and confronting the enemies of Islam.
