Lebanese Council Reacts to Trump’s Threats against Leader of Islamic Revolution
IQNA – The vice president of Lebanon’s Shias Supreme Council considered Donald Trump’s threats against the Leader of the Islamic Revolution a clear departure from values and traditions.
Sheikh Ali al-Khatib said, “We condemn this unprecedented insolence and call on the Arab and Islamic world and the free world to condemn this behavior (as well).”
The US president has recently threatened to assassinate the Leader of Islamic Revolution.
His threats have drawn widespread condemnations from Arab and Muslim world figures and nations.

Trump’s remarks have been described as an affront to a prominent Islamic figure and religious authority and exposes the criminal dimensions of the arrogant US regime’s policies.
This comes amid the Israeli regime’s aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran that was launched on June 13 and has been faced with Iran’s retaliatory attacks dubbed Operation True Promise III.
